I am a staff robotics scientist at Realtime Robotics and guest lecturer at TU Berlin teaching motion planning together with Wolfgang Hönig. Previously I was with Marc Toussaint at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems (MPI-IS).
My research interest lies in optimization and planning for complex and high-dimensional robotics systems. I have a particular interest in planning over abstract representations (multilevel motion planning). My work got published in venues like IJRR, TRO, RAL, ICRA, IROS, WAFR, ISRR, and I am a developer for the Open Motion Planning Library.
